The Casbah of Tetouan and Other Journeys for Brass

Spotlight on Faculty
The Plymouth Brass – featuring Hochstein faculty members Diana Chase, trumpet; Colleen Wolf, horn; Ben David Aaronson, trombone; Jeremy Stoner, tuba; and former faculty member Roy Smith, trumpet – perform music for brass quintet, including Kerry Turner’s 1988 The Casbah of Tetouan, inspired by a trip to Morocco.

The concert begins at 7:00 pm, lasts about an hour, and is followed by a “meet the artists” reception. Admission is $5 per person, with a $10 family maximum. Concerts are free to Hochstein students/families, faculty, and staff.


The Spotlight on Faculty concert series is sponsored by Ed and Jillian Pritchard Fiandach. It is also made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
