From the Director

Welcome to Summer at Hochstein and the wonderful array of offerings we have in store for you! Our summer program provides an ideal time to try something new or to keep those skills fresh for fall!

Use the sidebar menu to navigate through the summer offerings, which include Arts in Action camps for children 4-10, plus a mini-camp for younger children. Suzuki Strings and Music FUNdamentals offer music classes for younger children.

There are a number of topic-specific music camps and workshops, including classes in flute, ukulele, mandolin, and harmonica—as well as individual instruction, and lessons in jazz, songwriting, and drum set.

A Broadway camp for grades 8-12 focuses on singing and group dance numbers; and there's a new weeklong camp combining comics and music. Adults can take group classes in voice, string instruments, chamber music, and guitar, as well as a new class on conquering stagefright.

The summer dance program includes ongoing classes in ballet, Latin dance, hip hop, African dance and drumming, tap, and more.

There’s something for everyone at Hochstein—and we can’t wait to share it with you!
