Welcome from the Junior Wind Symphony Director

Welcome to the Junior Wind Symphony page of The Hochstein School! I hope that you will take a moment to read about the band program and other offerings from Hochstein.

The Junior Wind Symphony (JWS) is open to advanced wind, percussion, and brass players in grades 7 & 8 who wish to broaden their wind band experience. The ensemble meets on Saturdays from 12:00-2:00 pm  and concludes with an evening concert in the Performance Hall. JWS performs level III and IV band repertoire and recently gave the regional premiere of a brand new work for concert band.

Please feel free to stop by a rehearsal or contact me if you have any questions about the Junior Wind Symphony or Hochstein programs in general.
