Hochstein's Health & Safety Guidelines
As of April 1, 2024
In March of 2024, the CDC released updated Respiratory Virus Guidance "in response to the decreasing risk that COVID-19 poses to the population." Hochstein encourages the use of the CDC's recommended core prevention strategies, which protect against COVID-19 as well as other respiratory viruses like the flu and RSV. Masking, distancing, and testing are additional preventative strategies, which are helpful to layer with core strategies in certain circumstances.
Simply put - if you are sick with a respiratory illness, please stay home.
Take care of yourself, and consider the health and comfort of those around you as well.
Whether you have COVID-19, the flu, or another respiratory illness, we ask that you stay home until your symptoms have improved AND you are fever-free (without meds) for at least 24 hours. When you resume normal activities, please use added preventative strategies over the next five days, as necessary, to manage symptoms and transmission.
We are so appreciative of this community and your understanding in these past few years. We join you in hoping this will be the last update of its kind! Stay well.
