Ages 18+, Intermediate-Advanced level
Open to piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, and guitar.
Ensembles of two learn the art of collaborative playing through duet repertoire. Duos meet for weekly 45-minute coaching sessions scheduled at a time mutually agreeable for the adult musicians and the coach.
Participants may request placement with a specific duo partner or apply individually to be paired with another player of similar level.
Duo ensembles are provided many performance opportunities throughout the year.
FEE: $20 registration fee; $990* yearly tuition payable in quarterly installments of $247.50 each. For students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein, yearly tuition is $825 payable in quarterly installments of $206.25. (Fees are as of Fall 2024.)
