Welcome from the Hochstein Youth Singers Director

Welcome to the Hochstein Youth Singers!

Hochstein Youth Singers is a successful, energetic organization of highly motivated and dedicated young musicians and their supportive parents. My goal is for Youth Singers to be far more than an activity for our singers. The high standards and expectations…both musical and personal…of this ensemble provide a means of nurturing commitment, responsibility and confidence in our students, as well as musical excellence.

Although our end goal is a quality musical performance, the rehearsal PROCESS is where our learning takes place! We’ll be aspiring to exciting, challenging, fast-paced, and FUN rehearsals that will lead us to performances during the school year. Brace yourself for the challenge, and at the same time be ready to smile and laugh a lot!

Hochstein Youth Singers is an energetic chorus made up of motivated and dedicated young musicians. Students join Youth Singers because they love to sing and want the fun of singing challenging music with like-minded musicians. You gain self-confidence as you improve your vocal technique, music-reading skills, musicality, and performance skills. Youth Singers perform diverse treble choral repertoire (as well as some SATB literature) in multiple languages and styles.

Fee: $20 registration fee. $133.75 per 9-week session.
