HYSO Seniors of 2024

Congratulations to the 26 graduating seniors (listed below) in the 2024 Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra! Most of them are heading to college to pursue a variety of majors, some in music performance and education and many in scientific and medical fields. Some are staying in the Rochester area, while others are heading out of state. We wish them all the best!

  • Isabel Ament: McGill University, double major in bassoon performance and international development relations
  • Ella Belculfine:  Nazareth University, Music Education
  • Lindsey Chan: School of the Art Institue of Chicago, fine arts major for graphic and interior design
  • Julian Chumacero: Pomona College, double major in mathematics and music
  • Shuwen Ding: Wellesley College
  • Joanna Frank: Cincinnati Conservatory of Music
  • Eliza Gardner: Nazareth University, music
  • Isabel Goldstein: University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music dual degree, achaeology, technology and historical structures, double bass performance
  • Claire Kazmierczak: College and eventuall med school
  • Ryan Kunze: Bucknell University, biomedial engineering
  • Sam LoCigno: Fordham University, political science, pre-law track
  • Hannah Loughner: SUNY Geneseo, biology
