Ms. Hart holds a Master's degree in Flute Performance, Juilliard School, and Bachelor of Arts in Music, Case Western Reserve University. She is Suzuki certified through Suzuki Flute Institute International, East Tennessee State University. She has professional orchestral experience in New York City and North Carolina and is a former faculty member at Turtle Bay Music School, New York, and Cleveland Music School Settlement. Her community orchestra and ensemble participation in the Rochester area since the 1970s is extensive. Ms. Hart performs frequently in area chamber ensembles with piano, strings, and winds, including the Caprice Flute Trio. She is past president of the Rochester Flute Association, and often has presented sessions at the RFA’s annual Flute Fair. At Hochstein she has been on the RFA-Hochstein Summer Flute Camp faculty and has also co-coordinated that activity. She holds an MBA from University of Rochester, and retired in 2006 from her position as assistant provost for institutional research.
