Violinist Eri Noda has had a significant reputation as a chamber and orchestral musician, recitalist, and teacher for more than two decades. She is frequently heard in chamber music concerts throughout Japan, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Korea, and the United States. She has been an invited guest at many international music festivals, including Japan’s Kurashiki, France’s Entrecasteaux, and La Musica in Sarasota, FL.
In Japan, she performed as a member of Kochi Contemporary, Shirakawa String, and Tokyo String Ensemble. She appeared on NHK-TV and NHK-FM for her educational as well as contemporary music performances. She has been also featured in solo performances and recitals in highly regarded halls including Casals Hall and Tokyo Metropolitan Hall. She has collaborated with major orchestras in Tokyo, Indiana, and NY State.
She began violin lessons at age three and graduated music high school at Tokyo University of Arts. While she was studying, she won numerous competitions. In her second year at Tokyo University of Arts, she was accepted in the class of Prof. Gÿorgy Pauk, who is a legendary violinist. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Tokyo University of Arts, and DipRAM, which is a master’s level Performance Degree with Top Honors from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Noda has been enjoying teaching for all kinds of levels and ages. She was a professor at Kunitachi Music Academy for some years before coming to the U.S.
