A graduate of Binghamton University, State University of New York, Janalyce Lane has experience in a variety of dance styles. She was a Senior Company Member and Assistant Teacher with Borinquen Dance Theater, teaching classes and assisting company members in preparation for performances.
While in Binghamton, she was a member of the Quimbamba Latin Dance Team, teaching classes and producing Latin dance choreography that was performed during their annual spring show in 2023. She was also a member of the Binghamton Ballroom Dance Team, learning and practicing 12 styles of ballroom dance and competing at the novice level.
She has also attended the Garth Fagan Dance Summer Movement Institute and trained rigorously in Fagan technique. She performed a solo at the Memorial Art Gallery in honor of Black History Month.
