Job Description:
Are you ready to join a group of dynamic colleagues? This not-for-profit school is looking for a MT-BC to provide group and individual music therapy in a variety of settings including our downtown campus, health care agencies, and educational and senior living centers.
The Ideal Candidate:

Adheres to the code of ethics and standards of practice as set forth by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)

Able to design and implement music therapy interventions to address needs of the clients

Demonstrates excellent musical skills and ability to lead group and individual sessions

Demonstrates knowledge and good practice of universal precautions, including hand hygiene

Displays excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work with a diverse population

Is creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated

Maintains patient confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues relating to clients

Maintains excellent professional conduct and works well in a team setting,

Maintains professional documentation as agreed with department chair
Qualifications:
MT-BC Music Therapist – Board Certified
Must have own transportation and ability to work independently Master’s degree and/or LCAT preferred but not required AMTA membership preferred but not required.
