Hochstein at High Falls: A Girl Named Genny

Join us for a free lunchtime concert at Hochstein at High Falls, featuring A Girl Named Genny.
Event details

Based in Rochester, NY, the six-piece band A Girl Named Genny incorporates traditional folk instruments to produce a new sound that encompasses several genres and styles. Dynamic instrumentation and upbeat melodies drive this high-energy Americana band that can also provide tender moments and ultimately music that lifts the human soul.

The concerts are hosted by Hannah Maier of The Route/WRUR 88.5. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch. Each performance will run approximately 40 minutes. 

Concerts take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, check Hochstein’s website or Hochstein’s Facebook page at 10:30 am the day of the concert to see if the concert is moving to the rain location at MCC’s Downtown Campus at 321 State Street. There will be signage to direct you to the indoor rain location.

Hochstein at High Falls concerts are presented by the High Falls Business Association, The Hochstein School, and The Route/WRUR 88.5. Hochstein at High Falls is also made possible by a number of local organizations, including Brandtatorship, LaBella Associates, and Monroe Community College.
