Dave Chisholm, Director
Session I: July 20-24, 2020
Session II: July 27-31, 2020
for students ages 12-18
Join master musician and graphic artist Dave Chisholm, writer/artist for the novel Instrumental and the Canopus series, in a wonderful exploration of the intersection of cartooning and musical sound. Camp participants will each design their own character and then compose a short theme/tune representing that character. Students can work both low-and-high-tech—sketching freehand or using some online options in Hochstein’s Music Lab. No previous drawing or musical experience needed. There is a limit of 8 students for this class. Early registration is recommended!
NOTE: Students should bring a sketch pad and pencil to the first class.
Fee: $10 registration fee; $255* tuition per weekly session. Tuition for Sessions I & II combined: $450. (Fees are as of Summer 2020.)
