Dance Connections

Dance Connections is a new program at The Hochstein School. Please join us as we explore the dances of our community – no experience necessary and all are welcome.

Dance Connections includes three components:

  • ROC Dances!, a free Friday evening community class series (October to June);
  • Professional Practice Masterclasses, for intermediate and advanced dance students, pre-professionals, and dance educators (participants should have at least 2 years' serious dance training to participate); and
  • Dance scholarships for City of Rochester children and youth to attend Around the World of Dance camps.

See below for more information about ROC Dances! More information to come on the other programs.

Questions? Please email ROCDances@hochstein.org or call 585.454.4596.

This program is made possible with generous funding from a City of Rochester ArtsBloom grant. ArtsBloom is an initiative to fund arts education, literary arts, performing arts, and visual art across Rochester and The Hochstein School is one of nine grant recipients.
