“Songs We Forgot to Remember – Hidden Gems of Love and Life” features music of fields and flowers, birds and rain showers. The program includes works by Arvo Pärt, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Thurlow Lieurance, and more.
The voice-flute-piano trio Gossamer Edge was formed in 2012 to explore the vibrant repertory for this trio combination, as well as solo literature and duos combining the instruments in different ways that make for intriguing and varied programs.
Admission at the door is $10 per person, with a $20 family maximum. Concerts are free to Hochstein students/families, faculty, and staff. The concert lasts about an hour, and is followed by a “meet the artists” reception.
Audience will be asked to follow Hochstein’s COVID safety plan in place at the time of the concert: https://hochstein.org/About/Hochstein-COVID-Safety-Information
The Spotlight on Faculty concert series is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature.
