Hochstein cello instructor Natalie Spehar has performed live with artists including Disturbed, Cage the Elephant, 2 Cellos, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Dessa, Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith, Johnny Mathis, Michael Bolton, Il Volo, Michael Bublé, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She is also an active composer and studio recording artist.
Spehar’s concert includes Suite No. 1 for Unaccompanied Violoncello by J.S. Bach and “Summerland” by William Grant Still – with Hochstein faculty member Yoshiko Arahata – among other works.
The Hochstein School’s lunchtime Live from Hochstein concert series will be broadcast live on WXXI Classical 91.5/90.3 FM and hosted by WXXI Classical 91.5’s Mona Seghatoleslami.
Please note that because of health and safety guidelines during the pandemic, the fall concert series will be broadcast without a live audience in the Performance Hall.
