Sinfonia & Concertino Strings in Concert

Event summary
Musicians in Hochstein’s Sinfonia (grades 4-9, John Fetter, director), and Concertino Strings (grades 1-5, Marcos Kreutzer, director) orchestral ensembles give a free joint afternoon concert.
Event details

In the first half, Concertino Strings performs two works for string orchestra: Philip Gordon’s Fiddle Frolics and John Caponegro’s Fiddling A-Round

Then the Sinfonia takes the stage for Sinfonietta by Pál Járdányi and Eric Ewazen’s Four Royal Dances, where each of the four movements represents a figure in the royal court. 

This concert is free and open to the public.
