Maryellen Giese and Jonathan Thomas Madden direct Hochstein Singers and Youth Singers. Shana Kohler directs Hochstein Little Singers.
The program includes seasonal favorites such as Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and Mozart’s "Alleluia," along with music by Purcell and Bruno Mars and an amusing parody of J.S. Bach’s music called “Cold and Fugue Season.” They will be joined by guest musicians on harp, flute, and cello along with the Flower City Ukulele Orchestra.
Near the end of the concert, the Youth Singers will be joined by family members, friends, Hochstein faculty, and members of the Rochester Oratorio Society for the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.
