Guitar Masterclass with Marko Topchii

Marko Topchii, winner of the 2023 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, teaches a masterclass to four local students of classical guitar.
Event details

The masterclass is presented through a collaboration between The Hochstein School and Rochester Classical Guitar. Topchii will be performing a concert in Rochester on Monday, December 2, as part of his 2024-25 tour.

Born to a musical family in Ukraine, Topchii has won numerous awards and has appeared in the world’s most important venues, including Carnegie Hall, Yamaha Ginza Hall in Tokyo, Salle Cortot in Paris, Grand Hall of the Kyiv Philharmonic, and Grand Hall of Liszt Academy in Budapest, among others.

The masterclass is free and open to the public. The program includes:
