Wissam Boustany's charismatic stage presence and passionate musicality have earned him an international following as a soloist, teacher, and humanitarian. His emotional and expressive playing are well matched by his innovative programming and compelling communication with his musical partner and the audience. As a teacher, his "Method Called Love" allows students to harness their potential, empowering and inspiring them to explore their individual emotion and creativity.
The concert program includes Fantaisiesonate by Max Meyer-Olbersleben; two pieces by Wissam Boustany, And the Wind Whispered and 1 drop FULL; and Prokofiev's Sonata No. 2. Boustany was born in Lebanon and then moved to Britain and has performed with some of the world's leading conductors and orchestras. He was knighted by the Lebanese government for his music and peace work.
