Rita George Simmons and Paula Bobb are both members of Hochstein’s faculty, in flute and piano, respectively. Mezzo-soprano Allyn Van Dusen is a versatile performer who has appeared as a soloist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, RPO, and Rochester Oratorio Society, among others.
They formed the voice-flute-piano trio Gossamer Edge in 2012 to explore the vibrant repertory for this trio combination, as well as solo literature and duos combining the instruments in different ways that make for intriguing and varied programs.
