This concert - entitled Settling the Score: A Celebration of Female Composers - celebrates the music of female composers from the 18th through 21st Centuries in an eclectic program featuring works by Sofia Gubaidulina, Valerie Coleman, Princess Amalie of Prussia, and Amanda Harberg.

See the WXXI schedule here: https://www.classical915.org/programs/live-hochstein.

The Semplice Duo was formed in 2000 with the goal of introducing audiences to the less frequently performed chamber music for flute and piano.

Named Teacher of the Year by the Alabama Music Teachers Association, pianist Kevin T. Chance has performed throughout the United States and abroad as both soloist and collaborator.
