The program includes Nursery Rhyme Nonsense, the Australian folk song Cabbage-Tree Hat with accompaniment by Dr. Margaret Quackenbush on clarinet, a song set to the poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson, a Ladino song celebrating springtime, and Pentatonix’s arrangement of Take Me Home.
The Rochester Jubilee Choir, a collaboration between Hochstein and the Rochester Oratorio Society, will sing two rousing spirituals and Rev. Vernal Harris will lead his gospel arrangement of the “Learner's Creed.”
Individual voice students will also perform, including selections from the Broadway musicals Dogfight, In the Heights, Pippin, and Les Miserables.
The concert is free and open to the public.
