Join the Vertex Saxophone Quartet for an eclectic program of groove-infused music! Intended to make you want to move, some of these grooves may surprise you as the quartet explores music from various eras and styles, including works by George Gershwin, Astor Piazzolla, Rochester's own Ramon Ricker, and much more.
The Vertex Saxophone Quartet is a unique and versatile group of saxophonists who are active performers and educators in the Rochester, NY area. Founded in 2009, the Vertex Saxophone Quartet has performed in schools, churches, and formal concert locations and for special events in the greater Rochester area and is equally at home in the classical, jazz, and popular styles of music.

The Hochstein School’s free noontime Live from Hochstein concert series will be hosted by WXXI Classical’s Mona Seghatoleslami and broadcast live. Listen to the concert on WXXI Classical at 91.5 FM, 90.3 FM, or online at https://www.wxxiclassical.org. Listen to an encore broadcast on WXXI Classical 91.5 FM at 10:00 pm the day of the concert.
