Event details

Celebrate spring with the Hochstein Faculty Cello Quartet, featuring Jennifer Carpenter, John Delmonico, Kathleen Murphy Kemp, and Natalie Spehar. The program includes music ranging from Bach to Metallica, along with works by Goltermann, Dvořák, Lodge, and Piazzolla. Bridge’s “Spring Song” was arranged by cellist and Eastman alum Michael Kauffman. There will be a Slavonic dance, a tango, a rag, and a beautiful serenade. This concert includes some of the performers’ favorites and all the works sound wonderful with cello quartet.

The Hochstein School’s lunchtime Live from Hochstein concert series will be broadcast on WXXI Classical 91.5/90.3 FM and hosted by WXXI Classical 91.5’s Mona Seghatoleslami.

Listen to the concert online at https://www.classical915.org/.

Please note that because of health and safety guidelines during the pandemic, the spring concert series will be broadcast without a live audience in the Performance Hall.

Sidney and Barbara Sobel have provided continuous underwriting of the Live from Hochstein Broadcast & Concert Series since 1993. Live from Hochstein is also made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
