Telos Trio: Rita George Simmons, flute; Debbie Grohman, clarinet; Willie LaFavor, piano; with special guest Sandra Boysen Sluberski, narrator/voice.
This concert musically traces the history of the women's movement from the first Women's Rights Convention in Seneca Falls in 1848 and during years of persistent effort leading to 1917 and beyond. Local history significant to the Hochstein location will be highlighted.
7:00 pm; Hochstein Performance Hall; admission at the door is $10 per person, with a $20 family maximum. A “meet the artists” reception follows the concert.
The Spotlight on Faculty concert series is generously supported by Hochstein donors. It is also made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
