Spotlight on Faculty – Passionate Spring

Event summary
Members of the Hochstein String Faculty perform this celebration of music with a Romantic flair.
Event details

The program includes Arnold Bax’s expansive Harp Quintet; Three Tangos by Piazzolla, full of dramatic and intriguing expressions; Mark O’Connor’s joyful Appalachian Waltz; and selections from Dohnanyi’s evocative Serenade, Dvořák’s unusual Terzetto, and Glinka’s operatic Sextet.

Featuring: Eri Noda, violin; Marcos Kreutzer, violin; Pia Liptak, violin; Katie Worley, violin; Heather Misula, violin; Megan Kemp, viola; Olita Povero, viola; Michelle Walker, viola; Kathleen Murphy Kemp, cello; Jennifer Carpenter, cello; Cora Swenson Lee, cello; Wan Ling Chuang, bass; Grace Wong, harp; Yi-Wen Chang, piano        

Admission at the door is $10 per person, with a $20 family maximum. Concerts are free to Hochstein students/families, faculty, and staff.

A “meet the artists” reception follows the concert.
