Event summary

Hochstein is delighted to invite families to our annual winter open house! (The original January 20 event was cancelled due to a snowstorm.) Enjoy an afternoon filled with fun at our Musical Mystery Tour.

Event details

Highlights include:

an instrument petting zoo, where kids can try out individual instruments with guidance from Hochstein's expert faculty;
interactive music and dance sessions;
crafts and Music and Art Therapy activities;
face painting;
performances by Hochstein ensembles;
and a huge drum circle!

The Musical Mystery Tour sends children on a scavenger hunt for dance and music clues scattered throughout the historic Hochstein building, while the exceptional Hochstein faculty guide young gumshoes through the music, dance, and craft activities. Families can explore our offerings, learn more about the school, and even register for individual lessons and summer camps.

Tickets: Pricing for the Musical Mystery tour is $3 per child, $5 per adult, and a maximum of $10 per family. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.
