Join ukulele master Randy Pollok in this fun class exploring the music of Credence Clearwater Revival. Led by songwriter John Fogerty, CCR was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with hits like “Down on the Corner,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary,” and “Who’ll Stop the Rain.” Participants will get chord and lyric sheets for 10+ of CCR’s most popular tunes, and will work on playing some of their catchiest instrumental lines on the uke.
Check back later for the spring session topic. Past topics have included Latin Themes, Great American Songbook, Outlaw Country, and Klezmer Music.
Fee: $10 registration fee; $96 tuition per session; $72 if enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein. (Fees are as of Fall 2018.)
