Chuck and Pat Williamson of Liverpool, NY, were married in the Hochstein building in 1963, back when it was still a church. They have come back over the years to take a photo of themselves in the main hall to mark the occasion. 2023 marks their 60th wedding anniversary!
Hochstein Performance Hall looks quite a bit different now than it did then, although the stained glass windows and choir lofts are still the same.
We’ve celebrated with them since 2016 and it was nice to catch up with them again on Friday and find out what was going on with them – just like old friends do.
Pat told us that she gave Chuck until their 50th anniversary to divorce her and since he hadn’t done so, he was stuck with her. To which he replied that he wouldn’t have done that anyway! Very sweet! They were planning to spend the anniversary weekend visiting with family, some from nearby and some who had come up just for the occasion.
We’re so glad to be part of their annual celebration. Congratulations!
