Chuck and Pat Williamson of Liverpool, NY, were married in the Hochstein building in 1963, back when it was still a church. They have come back over the years to take a photo of themselves in the main hall to mark the occasion. 2020 marks their 57th wedding anniversary!
Hochstein Performance Hall looks quite a bit different now than it did then. But they said the stained glass windows and the choir lofts are still the same.
We’ve celebrated with them the past few years and it was nice to catch up with them again today and see family photos – just like old friends do.

In 2017, a Hochstein staff member who was also a licensed officiant offered to lead them in a renewal of their vows center stage, which included the usual “You may kiss the bride” moment. Then a small group of staff members did a spontaneous rendition of “Ave Maria.”
A couple of years ago, they shared with us these B&W photos from their wedding day. Chuck attended RIT, which had a downtown campus nearby at that time. Pat says she still has the green suit she wore that day.
We’re so glad to be part of their annual celebration. Pat’s mask says it all – “Love Wins.” Congratulations!
