Michelle Walker holds a Masters degree in Music Education and Viola Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Utah.
Walker has previously taught strings and orchestra in the Canyon and Davis School Districts in Utah, and she has also maintained a private studio since 2002. In addition, Walker completed Suzuki Books 1-3 training at the Ithaca College Suzuki Institute and the Aber Suzuki Institute.
As an orchestral player, Walker has performed with the Salt Lake Symphony and the Orchestra at Temple Square.
A native of Victor, New York, Walker is an alumna of the Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra and she is also a current Suzuki parent at Hochstein – she is happy to be settled back in the Rochester area with her son.
