Anna Lazeski received her Master of Education degree in Music at Nazareth College with a string concentration and her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy at Shenandoah University with a vocal concentration. Her violin teachers have been Megan Wobus, Alice Kanack, Virginia Wensel, and Margaret Leenhouts.
Anna grew up in the Suzuki program and is looking into getting her Suzuki certification soon. She likes to tailor her teaching to each individual student, as everyone learns uniquely. Anna uses a combination of traditional, Suzuki teaching, and modern approaches to engage her students and make lessons fun and enjoyable.
Anna has taught private lessons for over three years and is thrilled to join the Hochstein family.

What inspires me: Music, teaching, seeing the accomplished face of a student who tackled something big.
Favorite things to do in the Rochester area: Take my dogs for a walk, or fishing in different lakes and ponds.
When I’m not at Hochstein, you can find me: at Joann’s or Michaels buying yarn, playing with my dogs, singing show tunes and Taylor Swift in my car, or fishing in the summer.
My favorite local restaurants: Otto Tomato and Monte Alban
Favorite places to travel: Internationally – Japan; U.S.- Charleston, SC
Favorite movie: Moana
What people would be surprised to know about me: I love to crochet! I like making stuffed animals and hats. I love to travel and try new things and new foods. I am a big Buffalo Bills Fan!
