Monica Gridley graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Music Education. She then proceeded to complete her master's in Music Therapy from Nazareth College. As a part of her master's program, Gridley did her internship at Hochstein School of Music & Dance from September 2013 to June 2014. She then officially joined the Expressive Arts Department in July 2014. Gridley is also an Intern Supervisor for the Expressive Arts Department.
Gridley has experience working with adults and children with developmental disabilities, veterans, stroke survivors, and adolescences with mental needs. While at Hochstein, she has taught adapted voice, piano, guitar, drum, and violin lessons.
