Lydia Brown (she/they), MS, is a professional vocalist with a master of science in creative arts therapy. She grew up in Rochester, NY, and Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana, graduating from the Harley School in 2015. Lydia went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from SUNY Purchase, and earned her Masters at Nazareth University.
Lydia is a passionate songwriter, creating sounds that live within the “Afrofuturist Indie Folk” realm. She has just started to perform her original music around town as “lydia adelle.” In addition to working at Hochstein, Lydia is assistant director of a community choir called “Hopefully” created in January 2024 by Seth Faergolzia and which meets at the South Wedge Mission.
