Leadership Support, for nearly a Century, has helped thousands of children and adults access excellent music & dance instruction at Hochstein.
THE HOCHSTEIN SCHOOL OF MUSIC & DANCE invites you to become a member of the Emily Sibley Watson Society, the School’s leadership giving society.
When EMILY SIBLEY WATSON first heard David Hochstein play the violin, she was inspired to nurture his musical talent and potential. Providing him with access to the best teachers available, she also engaged the support of other benefactors such as George Eastman, and later gave generously to help found the Hochstein School in David’s memory in 1920.
The Emily Sibley Watson Society is created to recognize and thank those who have long been leadership donors to Hochstein, and to encourage others to join. Members make annual current-use, unrestricted donations of $1,000 or more to support Hochstein in its mission.
MEMBERS stand at the forefront of a movement to help the School provide increased service to the Rochester community. Like those School leaders who came before them, members of the Emily Sibley Watson Society are an influential group of supporters. They will earn a place in the School’s history for their dedication to and belief in the magic of music and dance education.
As an annual leadership donor through the Emily Sibley Watson Society, your support will go to where the need is greatest: tuition assistance for students based on financial need, attracting qualified faculty, enhancing our program offerings and maintaining our historic building and concert hall.
Emily Sibley Watson Society members enjoy exclusive benefits including:
• Special reception at Hochstein’s yearly culminating event, the Honors Convocation.
• Highlighted listing in the Annual Report and Honors Convocation Program in the Spring featuring Hochstein’s most accomplished students.
• Invitation to other VIP events and recognitions throughout the year.
