Congratulations to three members of Hochstein Youth Singers and Hochstein Singers who are graduating high school this year – Maeve Rosati, Luciano (Lucci) Pagano, and Ada Coté (pictured left to right in green t-shirts).
All three have all been in Hochstein’s choral program starting with Little Singers, and then continued in Youth Singers and Hochstein Singers with director Maryellen Giese – although Ada and Lucci were both in Hochstein’s music classes for little ones as young children (age 2 and under). That makes 10 years or more of making music together at Hochstein!
They were recognized at the Spring Concert of Young Voices on Saturday, June 1, which also included the Hochstein Little Singers, directed by Shana Kohler.
Luciano (aka Lucci) Pagano has also taken private voice lessons with Sandra Boysen Sluberski and piano with Gary Palmer. A graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School, he plans to study Computer Science at RIT.
Ada Coté will be graduating from Rush-Henrietta High School. In addition to Hochstein’s choral program, she took piano at age 5. She’ll be attending Allegheny College to study biochem on a pre-med track and also plans to play on the golf team.
Maeve Rosati will be attending Nazareth University for Music Therapy. She is graduating from Churchville-Chili High School.
If you know a young person who loves to sing - encourage them to join one of Hochstein's choral groups, just like Lucci, Ada, and Maeve did! Hochstein Little Singers is for Kindergarten through Grade 3 and Hochstein Youth Singers is for Grades 4-12. Find out more here.
