Hochstein students performed at Barnes & Noble as part of bookfair

posted on

On Sunday, January 28, Hochstein students performed at the Pittsford Barnes and Noble as part of our annual bookfair. There were chamber music ensembles from our Chamber Music Connection program, Suzuki students, adult ukulele players, individual violin students, and a jazz combo! The performers included:

  • Scholarship Woodwind Quintet, coached by Diane Smith
  • Saturday String Trio, coached by Jessica Tuttobene
  • Students of Katie Worley
  • Ukulele Ensemble, directed by Randy Pollok
  • String Quartet, coached by Koki Tanaka
  • Suzuki Department, directed by Marcos Kreutzer and Michelle Walker
  • Hochstein Jazz Combo with Richard DeLaney
  • EvamGabry String Quartet, coached by Jessica Tuttobene
  • Gioioso String Quartet, coached by Jessica Tuttobene

Thanks to all the students and faculty who participated, with a special thank you to Jessica Tuttobene and Michelle Walker who served as stage managers and Interim Operations Manager Rebecca Sealander for her assistance with logistics.

A portion of the day’s purchases – when mentioning Hochstein at the checkout – benefitted Hochstein. You can still support us with online purchases. Use our voucher code: 12720926 when you check out online (https://www.barnesandnoble.com). The code is good until February 2!
