Hochstein student Olivia Eloi-Evans, a 5th grader in Brighton, has been taking violin lessons with Katie Worley since last spring. But one of her other interests is the theatre, which she has participated in since the age of 5. She started theatre during summer music theatre camps and has appeared in productions of Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, and The Sound of Music.
She now has a new role – as the Ghost of Christmas Past in Geva Theatre Center’s production of A Christmas Carol. Congratulations, Olivia, on this great opportunity!
In addition to her music and theatre interests, Olivia is a talented dancer who has trained in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and hip hop. She has performed at NBA games and participated in classes with Dance Theatre of Harlem and Debbie Allen Summer Intensive Dance Program. Olivia also enjoys tumbling and when she isn’t on stage, she is a competitive cheerleader with NY Icons.
Charles Dickens’ classic story about Ebenezer Scrooge, who is reminded of the true meaning of the season by visits from a series of ghosts, runs at Geva from November 29-December 30, 2022. (More info: https://gevatheatre.org/christmas-carol/)
