A former Hochstein student showed up at yesterday’s Hochstein at High Falls concert.
Chris Matheos is originally from Penfield and took bass lessons at Hochstein but now lives in Los Angeles and is a full-time musician. He’s a friend of Johnny Burgin, who played at the concert with Hanna PK. Chris usually accompanies Johnny on bass but this time was just helping out as a roadie.
Chris went to Berklee College of Music in Boston, teaches private lessons, and has also written 20 instructional music books for Mel Bay. Great to see you back in Rochester!
