Joëlla Becker is an innovative cellist who loves performing and teaching in the Rochester area. Joëlla works with people of all ages in teaching and coaching and is excited to share her love of music with all by making lessons engaging and interactive.
Joëlla performs new and early music with ensembles such as Eastman’s Musica Nova and Collegium Musicum and collaborating with groups such as Ensemble Signal, Publick Musick, and the Berwick Fiddle Consort.
Joëlla received a Diplôme d’Etudes Musicales from the Conservatoire of Bordeaux and the Conservatoire of Saint Maur des Fossés, a Bachelor’s degree at the Eastman School of Music, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in cello performance and Early Music at the Eastman School of Music.
