Hochstein Dance Faculty - Nicolette Ferguson

Nicolette Ferguson is an Educator, choreographer, dancer and yoga instructor (200 RYT) counselling health and wellness through her Caribbean dance, contemporary modern and yoga/dance fusion classes at all levels of experience and ability throughout the Rochester area. With her 21 years experience traveling the world as a Principal dancer and master instructor with Garth Fagan Dance, she has taught and choreographed at SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Brockport, Nazareth College, Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester. Mentoring and coaching students of all ages, beginners, pre-professionals and professionals from
the Hochstein School, Draper School of Dance and Garth Fagan Dance, Ms. Ferguson was recognized with the Rochester Jamaican Organization Community Service and Leadership Award. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies, raised in Queens, New York and is a recipient of the Hall of Heritage Award, the Brockport Alumni Association’s most prestigious award, honoring her high level of professional achievement.
