Connor Stevens holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Florida State University and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. He is currently in the Doctor of Musical Arts program at Eastman, where he teaches percussion methods and coaches the freshman and sophomore percussion ensembles.
An active teacher for the past nine years, Stevens most recently worked through various school districts in the Atlanta, Georgia, area teaching individual lessons, marching percussion, percussion ensemble, and band/orchestra sectional coaching.
As a performer, Stevens has been a utility percussion player for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Tallahassee Symphony, and Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, among others. He also has given performances and clinics at University of Central Arkansas, University of South Carolina, Kennesaw State University, and other universities in the southern U.S.
