    More About Shannon Nance

    Hometown: Lincoln, NE

Favorite things to do in Rochester area: Walks near Lake Ontario, sailing in my dad's boat on Lake Ontario

When I’m not at Hochstein, you can find me: With my family -- reading, cooking, or watching movies in our home theater

My favorite local restaurant: Fiorella at the Public Market

Family: Married to RPO trumpeter Wesley Nance, and together we have enjoyed exploring the interesting repertoire of trumpet and violin chamber music. We live a full and busy life raising four children and in what little spare time we can find, enjoy cooking and sailing together!

Favorite place(s) to travel: Pittsburgh to see my grandson (born 9/20/17)! Also, St. Maarten in the Caribbean and Sonoma/Dry Creek Valley "wine country" in CA.

Favorite movie/TV show: Our family loves the series Chuck and has watched it in its entirety many times! However, our favorite family movie is The Incredibles -- we love how everyone discovers their gifts, and they learn to work together!

What people would be surprised to know about me: Every morning (with few exceptions) starts with a beautiful cappuccino that my husband makes me -- complete with latte art on top ... he's amazingly talented!
