Nazarene Campodonico

Nazarene Campodonico (they/them) graduated from Nazareth University in 2025 with a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy and recently completed their music therapy internship at The Hochstein School. Within their clinical training, they were given the opportunity to work with individuals with a variety of ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Nazarene aligns closely with an age-inclusive, play-based approach to music therapy, bringing fun, humor and excitement to each and every lesson. From musical games to songwriting, they aim to create memorable and meaningful experiences with others.

When not making music, Nazarene serves as an advocate for the music therapy community. They serve as President of the American Music Therapy Association for Students (AMTAS), where they work to increase access to financial and educational resources for students. They have also served on the regional level, with them most recently creating a mentorship program to connect Mid-Atlantic Region Professionals and students. Citing their own experiences as a queer person of color, they aim to reduce the barriers that impact the ability to become a music therapist. Following their internship, Nazarene is thrilled to continue their work at The Hochstein School!
