Whether you’re a child taking your first lesson or an adult returning to an instrument you love, one-on-one instruction is at the heart of Hochstein’s program — and the most effective way to grow as a musician.
Hochstein’s individual lesson teachers tailor instruction to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Lessons are available in all orchestral instruments, as well as composition, electric bass, acoustic and electric guitar, harp, percussion, piano, bagpipes, and Suzuki strings, viola, cello, harp, and flute. You may begin at any time during the year, with lessons available Monday through Saturday days and Monday through Friday evenings.
The first step is to fill out our New Student Individual Lesson Registration Request or call (585) 454-4596 to speak with a member of the Dean Staff. They will help you assess interest, skill level, and scheduling — then match you or your child with an appropriate teacher who tailors instruction to best fit your needs and goals. If you are a returning student, please fill out the Current Student Registration Request.
