Krista Laskowski

Praised for her “darkly rich voice” (Boston Classical Review) and “ample vocal gift” Krista Laskowski has quickly become recognized for her beautiful voice and impressive musical versatility in a wide range of repertoire from Baroque to 21st century classical music, musical theatre, oratorio, and song.

Ms. Laskowski has performed with Opera Tampa, Indianapolis Opera, Gulfshore Opera, Odyssey Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, MassOpera, and New Voices Opera in repertoire including The Marquis de Merteuil (The Dangerous Liaisons), Flora Bervoix (La traviata), Meg March (Little Women), Amastre (Serse), Florence Pike (Albert Herring), Siebel (Faust), and Franca Nacarelli (The Light in the Piazza).

On the concert stage, Ms. Laskowski has performed the works of Bach, Vivaldi, Saint-Saëns, Pergolesi, Handel, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Duruflé, Strozzi, Bleckner, Price, and Argento.

A native of Canandaigua, New York, Ms. Laskowski earned her Bachelor and Master of Music in Vocal Performance degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She is currently an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at SUNY Fredonia and on Faculty at The Hochstein School of Music.
