Jamilya Arzanesh

Jamilya Arzanesh holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance and a Master of Arts in Piano Performance and Music Education from the Turkmen National Conservatory in Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan. She also has a Master of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Rochester – Warner School of Education, with NY State Professional Teaching Certification in both Music and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

She is currently a full-time ESOL Teacher with the RCSD and has maintained a private piano studio for many years.

An active collaborative pianist for the past 20 years for school choirs and solofest, musicals, and churches, Arzanesh is currently the accompanist for the Hochstein Little Singers, as well as for Mountain Rise United Church Christ of Fairport.
