Individual lessons (30–60 minutes) are paired with weekly group classes for strings. Lessons and classes are equally important, with year-long parent guidance to support practice. Consistent attendance by the same parent or caregiver is strongly recommended for each child’s progress.
To get started in a Suzuki program, complete an Individual Lesson Registration Request or call us at 585.454.4596. A member of our Dean Staff will help match you with the right teacher and discuss scheduling options. Individual Suzuki lessons are available Monday through Saturday, with evening slots available Monday through Friday. You may enroll at any time during the year.

Children taking individual lessons at Hochstein qualify for a discounted rate for one Music FUNdamentals or Children’s Dance class and reduced fees for all other classes and ensembles. Adults taking individual lessons qualify for reduced fees for Ensembles, Music Theory and Music History, short courses, and Dance.
