Musical Theatre Dance
About This Class
This class builds on Jazz technique as a basis, introducing students to social dances through the decades (such as 1920s Charleston, 1940s Swing, and 1960s line dances) and exploring how social and classic dance styles are used throughout Musical Theater performance. This class is perfect for those who have a foundation in dance or musical theater, and want to further examine the use of dance and movement in storytelling.
